In the conversation below, an AT&T billing operator agrees that my service should not have been cut off and is surprised by it. It is quite a long conversation, but I include the whole thing as it is very interesting! The pages run left to right and down.

My service has been cut off repeatedly, usually just before the weekend when I have no hope of having it restored until the following week. Three times my service was cut off on Saturday, and twice on a three-day weekend. My long distance access was shut off on five occasions, which happened to follow my dealings with the Executive Complaint Team. What a coincidence!
